England - North York Moors to Scarborough

At each end of Rievaulx terrace stands a temple. At this end of the grassy terrace is the rectangular roman looking Ionic Temple which is said to have been inspired by the Maison Carree at Nimes. This is where they would have dined under a very impressive painted ceiling.
